Speirs wins the Donald MacDonald Quaich

Iain Speirs from Edinburgh won the 32nd Donald MacDonald Quaich tonight. The event was held in front of a packed audience in The Stables Restaurant at Armadale Castle, Sleat, Isle of Skye.

Allan MacDonald was the sole judge..

Iain’s winning tune was The Groat. Speirs last won the competition in 2016.

The other invited pipers were: Callum Beaumont, Glenn Brown, Alasdair Henderson and Craig Sutherland.

The event was sponsored by the Glencoe Foundation, USA.
