highlandschool2The College of Piping Highland School 2017 will be at Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness for the third year. After several years in the far north at Achiltibuie the decision was taken to move south to better serve the biggest population centres in the Highlands, Fort William and Inverness. We will have exclusive use of the hostel for the week as well as use of the local village hall for band practice and concert. All levels of ability for both pipers and drummers will be catered for. There will be a piobaireachd class. There will be a daily band practice. The full range of PDQB/SQA exams will be offered with a presentation of certificates at the end of the week. Students will meet up at the hostel at 2pm on the 9th and the school will end there at 11am on the 14th. The closing concert, sustained by students and instructors, will be on the evening of the 13th. All parents, family and friends are cordially invited; admission free.
