College of Piping Autumn Schools
Students will be taught in small group of similar ability for three – four hours per day, with practice time built in. The daily programme will cover all aspects of performance on the Highland Bagpipe including practice routines, technique, musical expression, timing and tuning. Students should bring pipes, practice chanter, music books, manuscript paper, pencils and, if desired, recorders.
Those sitting exams will be put through all the required work. Exams take place on Friday mornings or by arrangement. For more info go to our Examinations page. Courses are tailored to meet the needs of all levels of abilty.
